Community Garden
We operate and maintain the community garden within Noyes Park. The community garden season runs from April through October and is open to the general public. Registration for garden plots takes place in January when a registration form is posted on our website. A map of the garden area can be found here.
Monthly Park Clean-ups
FoNP hosts cleanup events the second Saturday of the month from April through October. Cleanups generally run from 10 AM to noon, but check our website for updates. Our cleanups are a great opportunity for community service! Please contact FoNP if your group is interested in coordinating involvement in our cleanups.
Park Maintenance
Thanks to donations from the community, the Friends of Noyes Park are able to complete seasonal maintenance throughout the park and garden area. Recent work includes picnic pavilion deep cleaning.
Special Events
The Friends of Noyes Park host and support special events at the park throughout the year. Recent events include the Brookland Halloween Parade as well Yoga in the Park.
Park Advocacy
The Friends of Noyes Park engage with local and citywide elected officials as well as various DC Government agencies, including DPR and DGS, to ensure Noyes Park is properly maintained and improved.
